Twitter is such a useless new "trendy app". It claims you can keep up with your friend and family in "real-time" to know every benign minutia that is happening in their lives. "I missed the bus", or "I'm making cookies", simple answers to a simple question. "What are you doing?" What if you dont FEEL like answering what you are doing every boring second of your life? Why cant you use instant messenger like the past 15 years. Knowing what your freinds and family are doing on a small measurment of time basis, would mean that they would all have to use the twitter service. Im pretty sure I could care less if my freind Tom is eating a sandwich at 3pm. I have other things to concern my life with. Twitter is a newer useless application that only trendy starbuck drinking Mac users use to feel better about being a part of their web 2.0 experience, when phones, email, and instant messenger all work fine. i dont need to creatively tell my mom that im jacking off to beastiality.

Why does every military instillation have highly priced popular retail/food chains on every street corner? Why is there all to do on "liberty" is to spend your money? Its because the military wants you to NEED them. It wants to keep all the working ants in line to bust their ass, and put up with bullshit to get that new Ipod, or video game. It is capitalism manifested into our military system. Why in every foreign port do our transportation drop you off at the mall, or a place where you have to spend money just to sit? Well unfortunately one reason is because people have no substance and the only thing that interests them are things that have flashing lights and shiny plastic buttons that are designed and made by millionaires who make the product for cheap and sell it to poor dumb people who think they need it with a 75% inflation. Its to keep the rich richer and the poor motherfuckers poorer. Who places the value on these items? the people that make them to make a profit. Everytime i hear why you should stayi n the navy is money, "you cant get fired", or "you always get paid". NO ones ever said "you get a chance to serve your country." If people saved all their money earned in the military we wouldnt need it, if no one got paid for their service, no one would serve. It is not 1942.

There was a lady who gave birth to a child that needed Intensive care. The child was basically dead, and stayed in the ICU for weeks. After a few weeks the baby had gotten better, and the mother had blessed this occurrence with a "miracle", and act of jesus. But why did "jesus" let this child to be born about to die in the first place and allow the mother to struggle every day, sitting beside her almost lifeless newborn? What kind of masochist do people believe in? What kind of person, or creature, can sit and watch or let people suffer? So he can make them better, to get all the credit? Not the doctors with thier prestigious education, and million dollar medical equipment that helped save a life. Or what about Sarah Palin, and her strong belief that god is great, that her daughter is about to have a "gift from god", who is an unmarried(premarital sex, a sin), underage daughter who was impregnated by a guy who just got arrested on 10 felony charges? Go pray to jesus on his birthday, "I hope you have a great day today", because tomorrow I will still have my wife who cheats on me, and my mortgage i can hardly pay off, that i have been praying to you for years for advice"
Why did god create people who do not believe in him, or believe in other ways of salvation and enlightenment. Why did he "create" distractions and choices for people to make if everyone should follow him? How come inbred americans who eat 5 big macs a day dismiss whatever you have to say when its full of logic and reason, and ideas to question authority? Because people are afraid of thought and offending strangers, and afraid of change, People enjoy being comfortable.
Why am I stuck on the 3rd christmas in a row sitting on a ship away from my loved ones, defending a country against "terrorism", which is an absurd notion to begin with and an act that jesus was supposed to die for, I just feel im the martyr for his bullshit and laziness. This is where technology and hypocrisy fuck...

I had a realization that MTV, culture and its existence has a lot in common with the western world and christianity.
Many people who have grown up on MTV, or who usually dont think for themselves, need someone to tell them who to idolize based on popular demand, and if not, you are an outcast. Tell them what to believe in, and to feed their propaganda into impressionable youth minds who cant form their own opinions for the fear of being unpopular.
Same with christianity, that imposes their belief and values on those who "don't believe". Give you commands to follow, if not to the T, then you are morally insignificant, and need to redeem yourself by pleading selfishly to a god who is too busy to care. It is filled with self involved invalids who want to live in the dark ages, and who refuse to accept that the world is always changing. Motivated by fear, either it be acceptance, or fear of not being in a club with others who need 1000 year old texts to do their thinking for them. People always have to look up to something or someone, some idea, rather then looking in the mirror every morning, and accept themselves for who they are. I would rather befriend a man with a good heart, who has no supernatural preconceived ideas, then befriend a man who lives a life of hypocrisy and and moral debauchery Monday through Saturday.

Everybody wants to be everything, besides themselves. This unfortunately leaves someone unable to identify who they really are because of false existences and by impressionable feeble minds. Everybody wants to be a sports hero, a music star, etc. No one wants to be forgotten, everybody has to have a paragraph in a history book. Why can't people be humble, so much of the population is saturated in pride and arrogance. People have to prove or validate their life by acting like they are superior to someone else. This i believe is because of insecurity in people that they aren't satisfied with their lives that they have to start a fantasy and emulate false idols they watch on television or hear on their ipod.
You need to be happy with who you are, and allow others to feel the same way.
I am dissatisfied by the way the world is, and me becoming satisfied just allows myself to tolerate the ignorance i see everyday. I hate that these people represent my existence.
